Ellery Littleton, BEd, is a writer, teacher, and counselor associated with the Haven Institute for over
25 years. He has experience in the intensive journal writing method and is the author of Old Rocks, New Streams – 65 Poems from the I Ching, and the sci-  thriller Time Crimes. His collection of erotic haiku, Hummingbird Tattoo, was nominated for an American Haiku Foundation “Touchstone Distinguished Book Award” for 2011.
Rita Lord, CA, started her career at KPMG in Montreal, where
she worked as an auditor. Rita’s experience has exposed her to both public and private sector companies. She has helped companies and non-pro ts work through mergers, divestitures, key investment decisions, and other  nancial analysis. She brings this expertise to her courses, and to her role as an associate faculty in the School of Business at RRU.
Neil McKinlay is a meditation instructor, personal coach, and shamanic consultant, offering workshops and classes throughout southern Vancouver Island. A long- time practitioner and student of
Dr. Reggie Ray, Neil draws from his training in the tradition of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche to emphasize the accessibility and relevance of meditation in the modern world. His teaching style is immediate
and personal, always af rming the dignity and wholeness of our lives in this moment.
Lisa Lipsett, PhD, is an artist and founder of the Creative by Nature Center, a showcase dedicated
to strengthening human-nature relationships. She holds a doctorate in Transformative Learning from the University of Toronto. Her book Beauty Muse: Painting in Communion with Nature awakens readers to nature and
self through their own creativity.

ABe lloyD Jim mAuriCe mArGo mClouGhlin
Abe Lloyd’s academic interest
is ethnoecology. He is studying estuarine root gardens of the
NW Coastal First Nations with
an emphasis on learning how traditional management affects the root productivity and palatability
of silverweed (Potentilla Paci ca). Abe’s passion is for wild edible foods, which he regularly incorporates into his diet.
Jim Maurice is a Certi ed Raw Food Chef and Instructor. He received his training from Living Light Institute in Ft. Bragg, California. Jim founded, and co-owns Rawsome Living Foods and Café on Salt Spring Island, for the purpose of educating people on the bene ts of a raw living diet. Both Jim and Chris Gay are the Organizers of Raw on the Rawk

Margo McLoughlin is a Victoria storyteller and teacher. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Harvard Divinity School. As an inter-faith chaplain at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, she led several storytelling
series with staff, patients, and families. She has facilitated story circles in Canada and the U.S. margostoryteller.net.
