The Continuing Studies (non- degree) certi cates in Supervisor Skills, Management & Leadership Skills, Professional Communication Skills, and Human Resource Management each include
eight comprehensive and experiential short, non-credit courses designed to broaden understanding, build on competencies and con dence while enhancing careers. Based on the Innovation Skills Pro le 2.0 model from the Conference Board of Canada, these courses help to provide the necessary skills, attitudes, behaviours and actions required to innovatively contribute to an organization’s performance and achievements through creativity, problem- solving, ongoing improvement, risk-taking and assessment, relationship building
and communication, and implementation.
“Continuing Studies students who complete any of the certi cate programs (non-credit), may receive recognition for prior learning as part of the admission evaluation process for RRU credit programs (certi cate, diploma, and degree).”
