GARETH KIRKBY JOYCE KLINE HOWARD LA FORTUNE, SR. JACKIE LARKIN
Gareth Kirkby, a Webster-Award- winning journalist, media manager, and professional communicator, he has worked in mainstream
and alternative media as a photojournalist, reporter, editor, producer, director of engagement, and publisher. A former researcher and public relations staffer for an environmental organization, Gareth also chaired an environmental umbrella group, and taught media relations workshops to activist organizations. He has a Master’s
in professional communications from RRU.
Joyce Kline’s interdisciplinary approach stems from her eclectic career as a visual artist, writer, playwright, dancer, journalist
and lecturer. Her work has exhibited across Canada and Finland, received Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council
and Canada Council visual art
and art writing awards, and was
a nalist in The Writers’ Union of Canada’s 2009 Writing for Children Competition. She teaches at Victoria College of Art.
Howard La Fortune, Sr. was born in Duncan, BC has been carving
for 34 years. Taught to carve by his older brother Doug La Fortune at an early age, Howard has developed his own style of Coast Salish Art. His work can be found all over
the world, work such as plaques, portrait masks and bear, wolf, owl, killer whale rattles and totem poles.
Jackie Larkin, MA, has trained with Joanna Macy in the Work That Reconnects and co-facilitated workshops and retreats for 15 years. Committed to social and environmental change, she integrates diverse experiences and interests into dynamic and transformative workshops.
Jackie is an activist, educator
and consultant who designs and facilitates courses in leadership development, strategic planning, facilitation skills, and global warming for community groups, and environmental organizations.
Sherry LeBlanc, MCC, CEC, is
a dedicated coach with 14 years’ experience as a professional coach and 15 years in leadership roles to leaders. She believes rmly in using coaching at all levels of leadership. Sherry holds a Graduate Certi cate in Executive Coaching from RRU and earned Master Certi ed
Coach designation from the International Coach Federation, an accreditation held by only 600+ coaches worldwide. In 2012, she was recognized with Leadership Victoria’s prestigious Leadership Excellence through Coaching and Mentoring Award.
ANNIE KLEIN JOEL KROEKER RACHELLE LAMB
Annie Klein has been a teacher for many years in a variety of settings. She is a Reiki Master and Soul Memory Discovery practitioner; Spiritual Director and artist; and brings years of experience as a hospice volunteer and workshop facilitator to her Sage-ing® work. Annie has also worked on a variety of movies, TV shows, commercials, and documentaries, and has been the extras casting director on over 60 productions shot on Vancouver Island. She holds degrees in psychology and education.
Joel Kroeker, MA, is currently a Jungian Analytic training candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich,
a CVAP-certi ed Registered Clinical Counsellor> He is also a Music-Centred Psychotherapist and the founding international workshop facilitator of Archetypal Music Psychotherapy (AMP). He has served on the board of the Vancouver Jung Society and is an international recording and touring artist on True North Records. He currently divides his time between his clinical practice and teaching courses at various universities across Brazil and North America.
