Julie DuBose began her study of Miksang with Michael Wood in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1998. She has been traveling and teaching with Michael since 2000 and is a teacher of all Miksang levels. She founded the Miksang Institute
for Contemplative Photography
in 2009 in Boulder, Colorado and Miksang Publications in 2012. Julie lives in Lafayette, Colorado. Her  rst book, Effortless Beauty: Photography as an Expression of Eye, Mind, and Heart, was released in March 2013. miksang.com/Julie-DuBose
Marlyn Farrell, DipC. (Diploma

and mental health clients. She designs and facilitates programs
on Embracing Your Inner Child, Befriending Your Inner Critic,

Shauna Fenwick is an accomplished facilitator, coach, educator and designer of leadership development systems. She works with individuals to strengthen
their leadership capabilities, and with teams and groups to create conditions for optimal function
and innovation. She coaches individual leaders and project teams, and teaches in the MA Leadership program at RRU. Shauna often uses an appreciative, strengths-based approach and believes that including diverse voices enhances outcomes.
Betty & Ken Foote are retired
and live in Barriere where life is good. The lake shores and woods are  lled with opportunities for wild crafting. They have a large workshop with wreathing machines and other crafting tools. Pussy willow and baby’s breath wreaths, moss chairs and frames and pine cone crafting are their summer activities. Their favorite season
is Christmas and they have more enjoyment than the participants at Continuing Studies’ annual Green Christmas workshop!
Enid Elliot, PhD, is an early childhood educator who has worked in a variety of contexts and settings and continues to  nd herself surprised, intrigued and delighted by children, families and early childhood educators. As adjunct professor at University of Victoria and a faculty member at Camosun, Enid has been investigating the in uence
of outdoor natural settings on children and early childhood educators.

Maggi Feehan, MA, has been writing professionally for twenty years. She is the author of numerous periodical articles and a novel,
The Serpent’s Veil, published by Thistledown Press. She has taught at RRU since 2001, in both the schools of Leadership Studies and Communication and Culture, and also teaches for The University
of Victoria. She is a certi ed Yoga Instructor as well as a Learning
in Action Emotional Intelligence Coach. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.
Jason Finnerty spent two decades in service industry management and now dedicates his time to his freelance profession. A graduate of RRU’s Professional Communication program, Jason brings his love of writing, marketing, and advertising local businesses and freelancers helping them to discover the value and bene ts of local talent.
Patricia Kathryn Galaczy, BA, MIR, is a leadership educator
and skilled facilitator with over 15 years’ experience designing and delivering customized, practical and experiential curriculum in Leadership, Management and Mindfulness.
