“Two years ago I entered into the MA in Leadership program at RRU. I thought I would be getting an in-depth education
that would allow me to advance in my career. What I ended up with
is a new beginning to
my outlook on life and purpose. The program
at RRU changed the way
I view the world, and hopefully the way the world views me. As the rst totally blind learner at RRU I had a challenge ahead of me; to help the university learn the best ways to accommodate a student with a visual disability. The sta and faculty
at RRU were up to the challenge and along the way I have made friends who have supported my learning. RRU is open
to new and innovative ideas and challenges.
The best advice that I
can o er new students is to remember that your education is yours to
own and experience. You make it what it is. The most important thing is to hang on tight and enjoy the ride!”
