Caren Dymond is a forest ecologist who has worked in research and operations for 14 years. For the
last eight years she has focused
on forest carbon dynamics and estimating greenhouse gas emissions. She works as a carbon and climate change research scientist for the BC Forest Service.
Enid Elliot, PhD, is an early childhood educator who has worked in a variety of contexts and settings and continues to
nd herself surprised, intrigued, and delighted by children, families, and early childhood educators.
As adjunct professor at University of Victoria and a faculty member at Camosun, Enid has been investigating the in uence of outdoor natural settings on children and early childhood educators.
John Dowler is an accomplished senior public sector leader and nancial management professional who recently retired from a successful 34 year career, primarily with the Government of British Columbia. For the most recent 24 of those years, John taught Graduate and Undergraduate courses for two universities, a college, and

Julie DuBose has studied and practiced Miksang Contemplative Photography since 1998 and is a principal Miksang instructor. She has been a student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche since 1975 and is just publishing her own book, Effortless Beauty: Photography as an Expression of Eye, Mind, and Heart, this fall.
Arne Elias, PhD, is passionate about building corporate and community sustainability, particularly in the urban transportation and energy space. He holds an MBA, was the Executive Director of the Centre for Sustainable Transportation at the University of Winnipeg, held the
BC Hydro Desk, and taught at UBC. Over the last decade he has created advanced integrative approaches to deliver transportation and energy sustainability, utilizing technological and social drivers of change.
Marlyn Farrell, CLSC, has worked as a trainer of lay counsellors and employment facilitators, and has
