The Art of Short Fiction

A workshop for those interested in writing short stories ranging from 500-1500 words and suitable for writers of all abilities, this 8-week course focuses on writing exercises that employ the creative process to uncover the story, create scenes and characters, develop central metaphors, dialogue, and con ict. Fellow writers will focus on these
story elements as a basis for respectful peer editing during the workshop sessions. Lots of writing is encouraged.
