“Yesterday during some team meeting time, I commended one team for how well they seemed to be working together and we got into a very interesting conversation about team dynamics and the culture in the classroom.
This team talked about how they had a couple of big battles at the start and then realized it was all because of cultural differences. They then agreed to use these differences to their advantage to solve case problems and work on assignments and it all clicked. Abdullmohsen can’t believe how much he is learning about other cultures and said this opportunity would have never been available to him in Saudi Arabia and Lisa said that she has learned more in her brief time
at RRU then she did all of last year at her university in Germany. When I asked her to expand she talked about the team concept and the diversity in the classroom as much as she did the curriculum.”
