Royal Roads offers a con dential, professional service to any student who might need help or support with any personal, social, family,
or academic problems.
Transportation
BC Transit ( http://www.bctransit.com/regions/vic/) provides bus service at regular intervals by bus routes numbered 39, 52 and 51 to the Royal Roads University campus. In the neighbourhood, the Langford Trolley will take you to dozens of local shops and recreation sites,
but does not stop on campus. Buses from Downtown Victoria take approximately 35 minutes to reach Royal Roads.
Cycling
Royal Roads University actively promotes cycling to and from campus, as well as around our campus. Many cyclists take the popular Galloping Goose Trail, a 60km walking/biking corridor. This well-tended trail takes you from surrounding communities to the entrance of Royal Roads. There are commuter-friendly shower rooms and lockers on campus
for cyclists.
Food Services
On campus, the Habitat Café offers a comfortable atmosphere
with a variety of hot and cold food and beverages, available Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from
9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Less than 1km from campus you will nd a number of restaurants, banks, and a large grocery store.
Recreation
All registered students receive free membership to the Royal Roads Recreation Centre, offering a gymnasium, tness guidance programs, and cardio equipment. As well, our 260 hectare campus is lled with excellent running and hiking trails. Students are encouraged to host sport tournaments throughout the year, the most popular being basketball and soccer.
Campus Security
Campus Security personnel patrol the campus 24 hours a day and can be called to assist students, visitors or staff to and from the parking areas.
