tools for cultivating and sustaining a healthy mind. Learn about the mindfulness- based stress reduction (MBSR) program, explore the basics of mindfulness practice along with its bene ts and applications, and introduce yourself to simple techniques proven to help reduce stress, regulate emotion, improve relationships, calm the body, and settle the overwhelmed mind. This is a precursor to the eight week MSBR program (page 41).
