Bigleaf Maple Tapping

A one-day, hands-on workshop about Canada’s West Coast native maple trees. Learn
how to tap and make syrup
in your own backyard. Three well located maples will produce enough sap to make about four litres of syrup per tapping season. Learn to be able to identify which trees
to tap, how to tap the trees and how to make your own syrup. This course takes place at The Backlund/Banman farm north of Ladysmith. Students are responsible for their own transportation.
