This six-week online course introduces basic accounting processes and principles and acts as preparation for those applying to RRU’s programs without having completed a formal accounting course. It’s also excellent for those wanting to brush up on their general accounting skills. To satisfy part of the entrance requirement
to one of the Business degree programs at RRU, you must receive a minimum of 50% in both the assignment and  nal quiz. Textbook required – see website.

Students at all stages can bene t from individualized guidance on the writing process,
from topic exploration to writing mechanics. Students will complete a short needs assessment and then be placed with a coach of complementary strengths to help them meet their individual goals. Coaching is offered via telephone, through online collaboration tools or face-to-face, at mutual convenience. In alignment with the Writing Centre and ethical guidelines at RRU, coaching enables the most powerful solutions to emerge from the student themselves.

This four-week online course introduces students to the fundamental elements of academic arguments. It can be taken as a separate course or in conjunction with Academic Writing and Critical Thinking. The course will cover the
basic elements of academic arguments and will introduce students to basic concepts in inductive and deductive logic as well as common logical fallacies. Textbooks required – see website.
