As a university, our strength is evident where it matters most – in the quality and relevance of the educational experience our students receive during their studies at Royal Roads. Graduates, you have demonstrated a commitment to personal and professional discovery and to making a difference in your communities. For that we commend you and offer heartfelt congratulations. You have contributed to how we define our place in the post-secondary education sector and to the reputation we have earned.
For 20 years, Royal Roads students and alumni have taken their education beyond the classroom to create positive change in their lives, workplaces and communities. You now join this impressive community of more than 23,500 alumni in more than 60 countries around the world
The Royal Roads community is proud to have helped you achieve your goals through an approach to education that is founded on turning knowledge into action. Of equal importance, we are proud of the work you will continue to do in your communities and organizations.
The community you started here will be a source of support throughout your life. We hope you will stay in touch with your cohort, faculty and the many staff at the university who helped you along the way. While the formal education may be over for now, the opportunities to learn, grow and connect do not end.

From its inception in 1995, Royal Roads University set out to change the way a university works by building something new from the ground up.
