How to make a gift
There are many ways to make a legacy gift.
Bequests
A charitable bequest is a gift made through your will or living trusts. Gifts of any type can be designated to specific faculties, schools, programs or areas of need, such as student aid or heritage and garden projects. You can establish a named endowment to honour your family or pay tribute to someone special.
Securities
Securities donated directly to the university will allow your estate to avoid paying the capital gains tax on your investments.
RRSP/RRIFs
You can name Royal Roads as the beneficiary of any portion of your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) or Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF).
Life Insurance Policy
Designate Royal Roads as an owner and/or beneficiary of a new or existing policy.
