As a university our strength is evident where it matters most – in the quality and relevance of the educational experience. Graduates, you have each demonstrated a shared commitment to lifelong learning, leadership and collaboration. For your contributions we commend you and offer heart-felt congratulations. We are a stronger university because of you.
You are joining a community of more than 20,500 alumni who are actively making positive change in over 63 countries. This year we are honoured to confer degrees on Royal Roads’ first Doctor of Social Science graduates as they join an impressive group of bachelor, master’s, graduate certificate and diploma alumni.
The Royal Roads community is proud to have helped you achieve your goals through an approach to education that is founded on turning knowledge into action. Of equal importance, we are proud of the work you will continue to do in your communities, businesses and organizations.
The community that started here will support you throughout your life. We hope you will stay in touch with your cohort, faculty and the many staff at the university who helped you along the way. While the formal education may be over for now, the opportunities to learn, grow and connect do not end.

From its inception in 1995, Royal Roads University set out to change the way university works, by building something new from the ground up.
