Graduates, you have each demonstrated a shared commitment to self and professional discovery, along with a purpose to use your knowledge to make a difference in your communities. For that we commend you and offer heartfelt congratulations. You have contributed to how we define our place in the post-secondary education sector and to the reputation we have earned.
You are joining a community of more than 21,000 alumni who are making positive change in over 60 countries. Earlier this year we were honoured to confer degrees on Royal Roads’ first Doctor of Social Sciences graduates as they joined an impressive group of Bachelor, Master’s, graduate certificate and diploma alumni.
The Royal Roads community is proud to have helped you achieve your goals through an approach to education that is founded on turning knowledge into action. Of equal importance, we are proud of the work you will continue to do in your communities, businesses and organizations.
The community you started here will be a source of support throughout your life. We hope you will stay in touch with your cohort, faculty and the many staff at the university who helped you along the way. While the formal education may be over for now, the opportunities to learn, grow and connect do not end.
