Hands-On in Nature
The Apothecary Garden
Long-time gardening enthusiast Wendy Morton is keen to share her unique garden and vast knowledge in this creative, enjoyable lesson. In the span of the afternoon, you will learn how to concoct fragrant oils and  oral waters (e.g. rose water, rose hip seed oil, calendula oil, lavender oil) as well as safe cleaning solutions. All of these items are made from what she grows in her garden. This is hands- on, so please bring an apron.

Introductory Course
Over four evenings and one Saturday, this introductory workshop offers participants both theory and practical  eld experience
in the art of beekeeping for beginners. Starting with a general history and the structure of the colony, discover the physiology of the honey bee, the players in the colony, honeybee nutrition, swarming and control methods, natural and integrated pest management, hive management for production and harvest and more! Detailed reference materials are provided.
